Welcome to SportingNewsCT.com a BoyleSports LLC website established in the fall of 2005. The website is a dream come true for owner Don Boyle.
Boyle hopes his twenty-plus years of broadcasting and production experience will assist in making SportingNewsCT.com an entertaining, positive environment for the local sports fans, athletes and the sponsors.
“Our Mission is to provide you with quality audio and video coverage of high school, college and amateur sporting events along with educational and informative interviews. By highlighting these grassroots events we hope to accentuate the positive influences sports play in the lives of our student-athletes.”
Over the past five-years SportingNewsCT.com has been a pioneer of sorts, utilizing modern technology to become the first website in the state to broadcast live video of the 2008 CIAC championship hockey games played at the Ingalls Rink in New Haven, Connecticut. Sportingnewsct.com also introduced live video and audio as an integral marketing and entertainment arm for American Legion Baseball . Programming content includes broadcasting regular-season, State Tournament, Northeast Regional games along with interivews and banquets .
SNCT.com's relationships have extended to the college spectrum by providing live video coverage of football and basketball for Southern Connecticut State University and providing live coverage of the Dick Galiette –Yale Football Media Luncheons since 2006.
SportingNewsCT.com roots however are secured in the high school sports market. We have an on-going relationship with the Southern Connecticut Conference, where we broadcast live video and audio play-by-play of various championship events including boy’s and girl’s soccer, baseball, softball, hockey, boy’s and girl’s lacrosse to name a few. We have also showcased Fairfield County Athletic Conference and the Central Connecticut Conference.
The growth of SportingNewsCT.com includes coverage of youth sporting events such as Shore Line Youth Football Championships, Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Sport Council events and numerous CIAC and Walter Camp Foundation events.
SportingNewsCT.com production crews have also broadcast live the Ivy League Pre-Season Football Press Conferences and produced video features and highlight packages for their Cross Country Championships.
Most recently SportingNewsCT.com has produced championship events for CTSN “The Connecticut Sports Network” television station. Our productions include football, soccer and baseball games.
Some of our other accomplishments include assisting in the development of www.GoGreenKnights.com, a Notre Dame West Haven High School website dedicated to streaming live audio and video. On www.GoGreenKnights.com we produce sporting and other school events including thaeter productions and graduation. This successful partnership is the model for other groups and teams to follow as a fundraiser for your group or team. To learn more please checkout our services page.
In closing, we will not sit on past accomplishments but strive to add many more interesting events to our broadcast menu to keep you entertained and coming back to us. We always urge you to send along your comments and ideas for future to help ensure our growth for years to come. Feel free to email us at [email protected].
