The Yale New Haven Auxiliary invited Yale Dean of Medicine Dr. Robert Alpern to lecture at the new West Haven campus on April 21, 2011.
Dr. Alpern's oration about the 200 year history of the Yale School of Medicine and where Yale University and the Yale School of Medicine is heading into the future was well received.
John Holt a sportscaster for Channel 3 in Connecticut is once again organizing his yearly benefit for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
It’s called Scooper Sunday and will happen this year on Sunday July 25th at the New Britain Rock Cats 1:35pm game vs. the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. A $7 general admission ticket or $10 reserved seat gets you admission to the game plus all the ice cream you can eat.
