Branford American Legion Season Over
August 14, 2010 – The magic ran out for the Branford American Legion baseball earlier today in Spokane, WA. The pride of Connecticut were eliminated by Kernsville, NC by the score of 8 to 6. Pat Simone started and lasted only an inning in taking the loss. Simone gave up four hits and three runs. Jeff Stoddard worked six-innings of 10-hit five run baseball and Oliver Hart worked 11/3 of hitless scoreless baseball.
Hart, John Lefeber, Stoddard and Jesse Castaldi collected RBI for the Branford. They finish with a 29-8 record.
