April 28, 2008 - As you know by now we have lost a true friend of baseball and our young people with the passing of Shelton baseball coach Ed Marocco. I will miss him dearly in a tribute to Ed we will offer an on-demand replay of two games he was part of, the first being the classic extra inning win over Amity a few years back and the game in which he joined me as a color commentator.
This weeks baseball show includes George Dummar, Branford, Rich Magner, Xavier and Derby's Sumner Sochrin.
We will be adding more interviews as the weeks move on.

April 28, 2008 - Ray writes for the Elm City Newspaper - When I think of Ed Marocco, I don‘t think of a Valley legend or one of the longest tenured baseball coaches in the state, of which he was both, I think of hot dogs.
It’s probably old news to most reading this by now, but Marocco - the Shelton High baseball coach since 1980 - died last Wednesday after suffering a heart attack the week before at the age of 58, the unexpectedness of which shocked the Valley, particularly Shelton High, where Marocco was also a long-time history teacher.

April 22, 2008 - Ray writes for the Elm City Newspaper - Let‘s get this out of the way before we go any further. This column is obviously slanted toward the coaches, I‘m going to make no apologies for it. I don‘t have any kids, and when I do, my views may change. Unfortunately, this is a story that you can get at any high school (or, really, youth team) in any sport. I’ll condense it for you, and think whether you’ve heard this before.
