The Stanley Cup, the oldest and most revered trophy in sports, will visit Quinnipiac University's TD Banknorth Sports Center on Friday, Dec. 5 when the men's ice hockey team hosts Providence College at 7:30 p.m. The trophy, presented annually to the National Hockey League playoff champion, will be displayed from 5-7 p.m. for that night's ticket holders to the game. Bobcats Play At 3 P.M. On Friday

The Quinnipiac University women's ice hockey plays host to ECAC conference opponents Rensselaer and Union this weekend. The Bobcats play RPI Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., before the Men's Ice Hockey game against Providence at 7 p.m. They will play Union Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. In their most recent game, the Bobcats were defeated by Princeton on Dec. 2, 4-2.

Bollerman And Kaluber Honored

Quinnipiac University men's cross country freshman Richard Klauber (Thomaston, Conn.) and women's cross country senior Chelsea Bollerman (Little Silver, N.J.) were named the Eli's Restaurant Group Quinnipiac Athletes of the Month for November. Both Klauber and Bollerman were named the Northeast Conference Outstanding Performer of the Year after each finished first at the NEC Championships on Nov. 2. This is the first time this year that either has won the award.

Women's Ice Hockey Edged By Princeton, 4-2

Illchuk And Husar Score Second Career Goals

The Quinnipiac University women's ice hockey fell to Princeton, 4-2, at the Hobey Baker Rink Tuesday night. The teams were tied, 2-2, going into the third period, but Princeton's two goals late in the period gave the Tigers the two-goal victory. With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 2-16-1 overall and 1-5-1 in ECAC Hockey. The Tigers' record improves to 5-6-1 overall and 3-4-0 in conference play.
