March 31, 2008 - Foran’s baseball team lost only one of last year’s staring nine. Although Mike Dooling was one of the areas best the Foran baseball team should show significant improvement over last year’s meager 5-15 season. Being a year older and a year wiser, Coach Todd Williams’ Lions look to be back on the prowl in the Hammonasset Division and hunting for a state tournament berth.

Foran Football Ends Long Skid |

Back in September, 2005, the Foran football team tripped Derby 12-6. The Lions then lost their next 20 games in a row. It wasn’t until last Fridsay night, their first visit to Ryan Field since that Southern Connecticut Conference Division II victory that once again the Lions tasted victory. They snapped their 20 game losing streak (the longest losing streak in school history) by tripping the Red Raiders 24-21.
