OCTOBER 9, 2007 – Yale plays host to Lehigh University this coming Saturday. This week's Bulldog press conference features Yale coach Jack Siedlecki, Lehigh coach Andy Cohen and Yale players punter Tom Mante and Langston Johnson.
Yale (4-0 overall, 2-0 Ivy) ranked 16th in the nation in the Sports Network Poll and 17th in the FCS Coaches Poll faces a very good Lehigh club (3-3, 0-1 Patriot).
This will be the 19th meeting between the two clubs. The Bulldogs hold the series edge 13-5 over the Mountian Hawks. The games have been close over the past two years with Yale coming away with a pair of overtime victories 28-21 in Bethlehem, PA (2005) and 26-20 (2006) at the Yale Bowl. The first meeting was a 33-17 win by Yale in 1890.
