October 23, 2007 - Welcome to another addition of the Dick Galiette Football Media Luncheon. This week’s guest include Yale mentor Jack Siedlecki, Columbia head coach Norries Wilson and Yale players, sophomore corner back Paul Rice and junior , offensive tackle Darius Dale.
The Yale team slipped past Penn 26-20 in three overtimes last week to improve to (6-0, 3-0 Ivy) and remain tied atop the Ivy League standings with Harvard. This week the Bulldogs travel to Columbia the kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 pm.

Series
Yale has won the last five meetings between the two and leads the all-time series verses Columbia 63-18-2.
Polls
The Bulldogs moved up two places in the FCS Coaches Poll to NO. 13 while vaulting three spots to NO. 13 in the Sports Network Poll. Yale has been ranked as high as NO. 13 and as low as 25th in seven different FCS polls this year. Yale remained at NO. 4 in the new Lambert (Eastern) Poll.
